I got the insurance when my cats were only about eight weeks, now they are five years old. I use Trupanion this year for the first time, happy that the veterinarian has direct billing so that helped us to do the claim.

They react instantly with our vet hospital.
As soon as I am up at the desk to check out, they call them and get my claim verified right away.
I also receive email messages at the same time letting me know what is going on with my claim.
I can concentrate on my dog's needs and have no stress.

We've always had pets, and finally signed our young cats up for Trupanion in 2019. The monthly dues seemed high for us at the beginning, but since then two of our cats have since been diagnosed with chronic illnesses, and one needed 2 surgeries. Without this insurance, we wouldn't have been able to afford a lot of the tests and treatments. This is the only pet insurance without a benefit cap, and whenever we've had questions their customer service has always been excellent. Our vet participates in the feature where the vet runs your Trupanion account # at checkout and Trupanion may pay for part of the visit on the spot (I can't remember what that's called). Highly recommend, and all our fluffy kids say thank you!

We got our puppy pet insurance, we had to use it within a week. I didn't have to do anything, the vet's office filed and they received the payment.

I have a big accident prone/injury prone/bad things ingested kind of goofy English cream golden retriever. Truepanion has covered his ACL equivalent surgery and elbow surgery (less deductibles) They were fast with my refund and didn't cancel us or raise our premium! Unlike the breeder who wouldn't stand behind their guarantee. Highly recommend Trupanion to all pet owners.

My Bulldog Watson was diagnosed with a heart tumor and given a limited amount of time. Thanks to Trupanion I was able to get him the best possible Cardio care, and I was able to do all of his favorite things and give him the best last 9 months without worrying too much about finances. Without Trupanion covering as much as they do, I definitely would not have been able to afford all of the medications and check ups, which kept him as comfortable and happy as possible for as long as possible. We got trupanion when our golden was a puppy, and through the years they have been nothing but wonderful. From the coverage they provide to their customer service. Our dog got diagnosed with lymphoma and the only reason we were able to give him the treatment he needed was with the help of trupanion. You insure your home, your car, your health, please please please insure your fur baby. Consider yourself lucky if you never have to use it, but if you need it, you'll be so grateful. They are amazing, and we will never go a day without having trupanion for our pets.
